Welcome to Red Crab Software! This site contains information regarding the software projects that I, Tom Auger, have created.
I started learning how to write computer software a few years ago and during that time I came up with different projects that related to my hobbies and interests.
These projects were then designed on paper and eventually culminated into the programs that appear on this website.
I’ve done my best to make the software as reliable and bug-free as possible, and as my programming skills improve I’ll continue to upgrade the programs with new features!
At the moment the two projects that I have created are:
A program created from my obsession of solving the Rubik’s cube. This program is designed for Rubik’s cube solves to time their solve speeds on a computer.

I came up with the idea of this when I went fishing. Most anglers like to keep a record of the fish that they catch and like myself recorded their catches in a notebook of some sort.
I wanted to be able to digitise my logbook so that I could browse through it and view any pictures alongside each record.
This program does exactly that but includes many other features such as statistics, which an ordinary paper record has no way of calculating!

If you’re interested in any of my projects please send me any feedback about any of my programs, the web site, or even new features or projects, to my email address,
mail@redcrabsoftware.co.uk.
I would really like to know what any users of my programs think and I’ll gladly take any criticisms on board!
Finally, I’m maintaining a blog which you can access here:

I will write posts about my software projects and other computer and programming related news. To keep up to date subscribe to my
RSS Feed!
